The Allure of the Seas Deck Plan Features Distinct Neighborhoods
Shorts are discouraged in the main dining room for dinner, but you'll see people in them anyway. Allure of the Seas quality and service is top-notch across all restaurants. Standouts include Chops Grille steakhouse, a six-course tasting menu at 150 Central Park, and Sabor’s Mexican favorites.
Allure Of The Seas - user reviews and comments
Royal Caribbean shook things up when it brought land-based American diner-style burger restaurant Johnny Rockets onto its ships at the dawn of added-fee dining. For a flat fee, passengers can choose from anything on the menu, except milkshakes and alcohol, which cost extra. Traditionally, I've found Royal Caribbean's main dining room food unremarkable. It's edible, but it has never stood out to me in any way — until Allure of the Seas. Adventure Ocean, Royal Caribbean's stellar kids club, has a vast space on Allure of the Seas. It offers separate areas for Royal Babies and Tots (6 months to 2 years), Aquanauts (3 to 5 years), Explorers (6 to 8 years) and Voyagers (9 to 11 years) on Deck 14 forward.
STATEROOMS
Personally, having these features missing does not make Allure of the Seas any less desirable to me. I rarely use the onboard waterslides or Ultimate Abyss, and while an escape room is fun, I can keep busy with other activities onboard. Plus, you can still find a zip line, sports court, 2 FlowRiders, Adventure Ocean programming, a carousel, and other kid-friendly activities on the ship. Like all Oasis Class cruise ships, there is no shortage of places to eat on Allure of the Seas. Everything from hot dogs to hibachi and tacos are available, and you’re sure to find something to please everyone in your travel party.
However, if you're sailing on a music-themed cruise, rock 'n' roll is the vibe you want as you soak up some sun and cruise the world with thousands of like-minded music fans. Central Park is a lovely space to stroll, grab a bite or sit and enjoy the greenery, but it's often excessively hot with little shade, despite all the plants. Like the Boardwalk, it's open to the sky, but the several decks of inward-facing balcony cabins that rise up around it don't allow for any sea views. Central Park balconies allow guests to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the ship’s park and listen to live music in the evenings.
Although Labadee is a private destination for Royal Caribbean ships, Haiti has sovereignty over the resort. Guests may be taken to an alternative destination such as Royal Caribbean’s private resort, Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas or may get another sea day. The lineup of '70s rock legends includes Air Supply, Kansas, The Guess Who, Melissa Manchester, The Family Stone and Dire Straits Legacy. They'll be performing, hosting events and attending special meet-and-greets. There will also be collaboration shows from some of the artists on board, as well as autograph sessions for fans to meet their favorite musicians. Our staterooms offer spa-like comfort so you can disconnect from reality and reconnect with your partner-in-adventure.

For the fifth installment of Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, cruisers will sail on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Gem from Miami to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. There will be multiple stages for performances throughout the ship. The 2025 lineup will be announced soon, though top bands like Dead Poet Society, Black Stone Cherry, Highly Suspect and I Prevail performed during past cruises. Fans can enjoy one-on-one time with their favorite groups at scheduled meet-and-greets with all the bands. When you choose to apply (and are approved) for a new credit card through our site, we may receive compensation from our partners, and this may impact how or where these products appear.
The ship has telescoping funnels to be able to sail across under bridges. Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ships are the first cruise vessels to get a DNV Green Passport. The certificate is not compulsory, but it shows the environmental commitment of the operator. The hulls of Allure and Oasis ships have a special non-toxic covering that minimizes friction and saves fuel. Allure of the Seas itinerary program is based on 7-day Caribbean cruises leaving roundtrip from homeports in Florida USA (Fort Lauderdale or Port Canaveral).
The lineup of scheduled daytime activities is staggering, and it offers something for passengers of all ages, interests and activity levels, whether they prefer trivia, surfing or something in between. At night, instead of one or two standout performances, just about every single show will make your jaw drop. All Royal Caribbean ships offer North American-style 110-volt outlets and European-style 220-volt outlets in rooms.

Royal Caribbean, consider this my official plea for Playmakers to serve food from the Sabor menu on Allure. Whether you cruise multiple times per year or you're new to cruising, the goal of Royal Caribbean Blog is for it to be a useful resource for keeping up to date with what's new and exciting with Royal Caribbean. We savored a meal of guacamole (customized to your spice preference!), pico de gallo, quesadillas, fish and chicken tacos, and queso fundido. In reality, Sabor exceeded my expectations and I was kicking myself for waiting until the last day of the cruise to dine there. On Allure of the Seas, however, this space has massive windows overlooking the Boardwalk neighborhood and ocean. Adventure Ocean programming is complimentary with the exception of Royal Babies & Tots, which has an hourly fee, and childcare after 10 PM.
The park is full of tall, lush trees and massive plant walls that are much more impressive than on the newer Oasis Class ships. Oceanview cabins have a porthole looking out toward the ocean, and they can be another budget-friendly option while having the benefit of a window view. Interior cabins are the most budget-friendly option, meaning you can save money on the cruise fare and put it toward excursions, drink packages, dining packages, spa treatments, and other pre-cruise add-ons. Teens have access to their own private lounge, The Living Room, and the Fuel Teen nightclub. In addition, you’ll find a variety of activities throughout the day such as scavenger hunts, pool games, Boardwalk carnival, Royal Promenade parades, and more.
Sure, complimentary Mexican fare is available at the former Wipe Out Cafe on Deck 15 (now called El Loco Fresh). However, the rubbery meat and counter service-style atmosphere there are severely subpar next to Sabor. Keep the healthy choices going with a visit to the Vitality Spa Cafe, which has a menu full of lighter fare, such as salads, sandwiches and smoothies.

For blues and jazz fans, Sixthman also offers the Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea X cruise, which sails from Miami and stops in Harvest Caye, Belize, and Costa Maya, Mexico. Aboard Norwegian Gem, passengers will have access to ship amenities like pools and a casino in addition to special music events. Accessible accommodations consist of eight inside cabins, two ocean-view rooms, 33 balconies and three suites. Allure of the Seas offers the Royal Suite Class, an upgraded suite experience featuring a suites-only restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, suite sun deck with daybeds, suite lounge, and access to a Royal Genie (in select cabins). Complimentary restaurants are available onboard, but there are also several options for specialty restaurants.
This neighborhood also has several bars and the Wipe Out Cafe, which now houses El Loco Fresh, a complimentary Mexican restaurant. Something else I loved on Allure of the Seas was Sabor, Royal Caribbean’s Mexican specialty restaurant. As far as dining and lounge venues are concerned, I did not have any complaints with what was available on Allure of the Seas. Being an Oasis Class ship, Allure of the Seas has a ton of places to eat and drink onboard even if she hasn’t been amplified. That being said, not having waterslides could be considered a downside of Allure of the Seas for some passengers. Whereas other Oasis Class ships have three waterslides in addition to small slides at Splashaway Bay, Allure of the Seas does not have even one.
